How does Wi-Fi Pro work?
Unlike standard broadband installation, we’ll assess your home and professionally optimise your Wi-Fi to suit your property’s layout.
We’ll install up to three Wi-Fi extenders where needed to help reduce dead zones and deliver a stronger, more reliable connection wherever you game.
What is a Static IP and why do gamers use one?

A fast, reliable full fibre connection and professionally optimised Wi-Fi can help deliver a smoother, more responsive gaming experience. While factors such as game servers and external networks can also affect latency, UltraPlay Pro provides the strong foundation serious gamers need.
Can I stream while gaming?
Yes. With 900Mbps full fibre broadband, you’ll have the speed and capacity to stream gameplay, chat with friends and keep other devices connected at the same time.
Can I use my own router?
Yes, we provide Bridge Mode* service for free. If you plan to use your own router and require bridge mode, please let us know before installation as this will require a special modem to be installed. Otherwise, you will need to send our router back at your own expenses.
*We are not responsible for any configuration issues or processes for routers that are not provided nor placed by Hey!Broadband when installing a bridge mode. Our team only takes care of installation of the “bridge device” to give customers the possibility to use their own router. We kindly invite our customers to flag any issues with the provider of their router.
Can I switch from my current broadband provider?
Yes. Switching is straightforward with One Touch Switch. We’ll manage the transfer from your current provider, making switching quick, simple and hassle-free.
If you’re eligible, you’ll also receive a £100 bill credit when you switch.
How quickly can I be connected?
Subject to availability, we can connect many homes in as little as 2 days.
Once your installation date is confirmed, our engineers will install your service, optimise your home Wi-Fi and make sure everything is working before they leave.
Is UltraPlay Pro suitable if other people are online?
Yes. UltraPlay Pro is designed to keep your gaming running smoothly, even when others in your home are streaming films, browsing the web or working online.

What happens after my 24-month contract expires?
When your 24-month contract ends, you’ll automatically move onto a rolling monthly contract at the same price as your final monthly payment. After that, your monthly price will only change in line with our annual £2 April price increase.
